Whats up fellow fisherman, I know its bee a while since I last talked to you but its been too cold to fish and work sucks. Bait and I have already mapped out some dates and ponds we would like to hit in the coming weeks. So I will be updating the site a lot more soon and give you any tips we can come up with.

Everybody say whats up to Alex. He is a SC carp fan that wants to fish the promise land known as Lake Greenwood. I know its been awhile since we have been on a carp outing but that is changing monday when we try the fall carp fishing. I'll let you know how it works out sometime next week. Everybody should get more friends to join so I can fish for a living, better yet you should give 2 dollars a month so Bait can fish with me. Nevermind, the wife would leave me in a heartbeat. DON'T FISH WINSTON LAKE FOR CARP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't know where TakeMeFishing.com got their info from but Winston Lake is not the spot to hit if you want to catch any carp.  We sat out there for several hours, tried several different attractants and nothing.  I saw one very small fish roll the top of the water and that was it.  The lake is evidently full of cats, but thats not what we are looking for. We moved to the pay pond "formerly known as Jim's Lake" and that review is in the members area. This week we are going to hit Blue's Creek or maybe Hill Top Lake, i'll let you know how it turns out.

Bait, Ark and myself are hitting the local wild lakes in Winston-Salem tomorrow.  I visited Betty's Country Store and picked up some experimental baits and flavorings to try out on the wild carp.  I will post again tomorrow with the results and hopefully all the new pics and videos. Also I have found a new list of carp ponds that i'm google earthing to make sure they are still there and will release locations and info as I get it.  I'm going to also put links in the bait and tackle section for the local stores that support the carp fishing sport, this will give us the opportunity to purchase bait at a reasonable US price.

Everybody welcome keith to the CarpZilla family.  Sorry I haven't been around much the last two weeks, moving and the new job have really impacted the fishing time.  We never got a chance to hit those pay ponds because of some stupid hurricane.  Bait and I are going to try some pay ponds this week and there is a wild lake next to my new house, so i'll attempt to try that one out also. If anybody knows of any pay lakes, near or far, drop us an email so we can plan a trip.
